Interview with Allyson Kramer

Allyson Kramer is an artist, food photographer, blogger, vegan and gluten-free recipe writer, and cookbook author. Allyson has been cooking since her teens but didn’t learn of her gluten intolerance until a health scare forced her to research treatments for her ailments. Now in great health, Allyson has a new cookbook, Great Gluten-Free Vegan Eats, and has recently completed a second book which is due out next year.  Her web site, Manifest Vegan, is a popular resource for anyone looking for delicious animal-friendly recipes and tips. Since Allyson lives close by, we recently met her for lunch at one of our favorite vegan restaurants, where we had a chance to talk to her about her busy life and upcoming projects.

In addition to checking out her web site, you can also find Allyson on Facebook, Twitter (@ManifestVegan), and Pinterest.

  1. I love Sprig and Vine, Allyson Kramer and From A to Vegan, so this is the perfect post! Allyson’s journey is really interesting – I’m glad that’s shared it with us and I’m happy that she’s feeling better.

    • Aw, thanks Dianne! We love our local vegan community and how supportive everyone is. We’re glad Allyson is feeling better too and sharing all her wonderful recipes by writing cookbooks. Being vegan and gluten-free nowadays isn’t that hard and it’s absolutely delicious. I love experimenting with different ingredients and adding variety to our meals and Allyson’s cookbook really adds to the mix.

So when are you writing your own cookbook, Dianne? 🙂
